Deliverables: x2 Male Animation Test Puppet Bodies
*Responsible for fabrication, assembly, and clean up of character body based on provided mechanicals, molds, 3D prints from LAIKA. Processes include:

Machining, brazing and assembly of armature (*not responsible for hands)

Cleaning and preparing 3D printed grip blocks for silicone casting

Casting, seaming and gluing of silicone
Ball & Socket Armature
Armature is a combination of tool steel stock and pre-manufactured components, manually machined via lathe and mill, brazed, and assembled, according to provided character armature technical specifications provided by LAIKA.
Grip Blocks
3D printed grip blocks printed from existing files at LAIKA, I was responsible for removing print supports, ensuring precision fit to armature, and preparing the parts for silicone casting.
Silicone Casting
Molds were provided by LAIKA, I completed the silicone cast of the body based on their specifications for mobility and seamed parts after demolding and assembly.
